The Psychrometric 4.5 software package provides the capability to work with standard psychrometric charts on the computer screen. A mouse can be used to plot points and lines. In addition, a spreadsheet can be brought up which lists up to 31 characteristics of each point plotted on the chart. The chart can be customized to exact needs, whether it be low temperature refrigeration, or normal HVAC cooling processes. This software package is intended for the mechanical engineer and engineering student who wants to better understand psychrometric processes. Psychrometric 4.5 runs under all versions of Microsoft Windows. The psychrometric chart software package utilizes ASHRAE Fundamental calculations to construct the graph, and determine the characteristics of all the points.
